Dogs have always been an important part of our life. We are second generation dog fanciers and have trained and
exhibited in AKC events since 1966, During those years we have  competed with and titled our dogs in many venues. It's been a wonderful journey! The last four decades we have been actively involved with Golden Retrievers and will occasionally breed a litter. 

Originally we exhibited in conformation, obedience and ran retriever working certificate tests. Over the last thirty years with the advent of new dog sports,  we have shifted our focus to training and exhibiting in upper level performance events with our Goldens. Our dogs are conditioned and trained daily with some breaks from formal training and competing.during the year. It is a terrific way to build relationships and stay active with our dogs, as well as our friends.

We have been fortunate to have owned and bred some
wonderful dogs – they have first and foremost been members of our family. 

We are active members in several dog clubs, and serve on the board as well as a volunteer trial secretary for our  local AKC agility club.
